29th Big Five Board Awards Reaches New Heights

The 29th Big Five Board Awards, generously sponsored by Eni was an evening of unprecedented celebration.

Closing the 8th Africa Energies Summit, the Awards Ceremony was held in a stunning, central London venue – suitably fitting for an event which celebrates and recognises the very best in individual and corporate contribution to the African upstream industry.

Following introductions from Frontier Energy CEO, Gayle Meikle, Eni’s Senior Exploration Advisor, Lorenzo Meciani, the Awards Keynote Speaker, Maggy Shino, Petroleum Commissioner at Namibia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy set the tone with a speech filled with positivity for the future of her own country’s – and the continent’s – energy future.

The Africa Energies Summit and Frontier Energy Network extend their congratulations to all our winners, as well as our respect for all that you achieve as we work together to drive Africa’s upstream industry forward.
