Visa Application Guidance

General Advice

Start Early: The visa process can be lengthy. Begin as soon as possible!

Requirements May Vary: Visa requirements differ by country. Check your local country requirements before starting.

Official Resources: For detailed guidance, visit the UK Government website

Application Process

When to Apply: Start within 3 months of your trip and submit at least 30 days before departure to avoid delays.

Visa Type: ETA or Standard Visitor Visa (up to 6 months). Multi-entry visas are not recommended without prior UK visa or valid justification.

Please note the UK is moving to a digital immigration system in 2026. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) are implementing a digital immigration system. This means they are replacing physical documents and stickers with a digital record of your identity and immigration status. This is known as an eVisa. Therefore, you may not get a visa sticker if you make a successful application for a visa on or after 25 February 2026.

If you are issued with an eVisa, you’ll be told how to access your eVisa and whether you’ll get a visa sticker during the application process. The application process is still the same, more information on the UK Government Website.
